Representation in a Digital and Fictional World

Thank you for visiting my capstone site! I hope you enjoyed learning about my process over the past two semesters, and I would love to start a conversation about representation in media and what you would like to see change. I only had time to delve into some really basic forms of representation; I didn't include various body sizes, or express different types of religions, or even specificity in what type of ethnicity each of my characters are. What are some areas in media that do a good job of representation (specific shows, aspects on social media, etc)? What are some ways big brand companies could improve on this? How, as artists from all different art interests, acknowledge the lack of diversity in our respective spheres? Please comment below an answer to any of these questions, or any thoughts you had about my project!
